Caffa Mill - FoweyThis interesting nineteenth century mill is only 150 yards from the harbour’s edge and is within ten minutes easy walk of the charming centre of Fowey itself. There is ample riverside parking within 100 yards level walk and visitors wishing to bring a dinghy can launch and arrange storage at the nearby dinghy park. Formerly an important flour mill, the property has been carefully converted by its present owners and is now three self contained character apartments. Whilst the upper flat is permanently occupied by the owners, the ground floor is available as very spacious and comfortable holiday accommodation and is ideal for a family holiday.

Caffa Mill has three bedrooms. One with a double bed, one with two single beds (which can be linked to make a double if required) and the third with two full size bunk beds. There is a shower room with washbasin and toilet. A separate toilet is available in the utility room. The very large open plan living room has a colour television and DVD, an open fireplace and a well equipped kitchen area with a farmhouse table, gas range, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is a utility room with automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. Heating is by convector and night storage heaters. Electricity is included in the rent. All bed linen will be supplied and a cot and baby chair are available if required. There is a full size table tennis table which can be set up in the living room. As all the rooms are on one floor, this property may well be suitable for visitors who have difficulty with steps or walking. It is possible to stop in the road outside the property to unload and weekly parking can be arranged nearby. Although there is no garden with this property there is a National Trust woodland walk within 200 yards which leads onto open fields overlooking the harbour.

A dinghy can be hired at this property. Please ask for details when booking as availability is limited.  A well behaved pet may be allowed by prior arrangement.

These prices are in £’s Sterling per property, per week, and include VAT at 17.5% where applicable, heating, electricity, bed linen and colour television unless otherwise stated in the description. A booking fee of £16 is also charged.

SHORT BREAKS. Outside the main holiday periods, short break holidays can usually be arranged at the following percentages of the weekly rate.

3 nights 70%   4 nights 80%   5 nights 90%

PETS. A well behaved pet (over one year old) may be accepted by prior arrangement at this property.  An additional weekly charge of £20 per pet is made and a damage deposit of £30 is also required.  Visitors bringing pets must observe the pet rules.
