Castle Green Cottage is located within 20 yards of the water’s edge very near to the harbour mouth. It has superb views over the main part of the harbour and across to Fowey. Recently completed it provides a high standard of accommodation for four people. The village shops, inns, quay and ferry to Fowey are all within a few hundred yards walk.

There are two bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and large triangular window with excellent harbour views. The other bedroom has two single beds (2 foot 9 inches wide) and the window provides good harbour views. Both shower rooms have a shower, lavatory and washbasin. 

There is an open plan living room with wood-burning stove. The dual aspect triangular windows allow high levels of light and super views over the harbour in one direction and over the cottage garden in the other. A colour television, DVD player and radio CD player are provided.  Castle Green Cottage has a well equipped kitchen dining room with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a table for four.  A washing machine is also provided.

Outside there is a small rear courtyard, sloping garden and a raised patio. There is also a facility to use one of the owner’s frapes for keeping a small boat (up to 15 feet) or a boat hired from Fowey River Boat Hire. This is accessed via a path through the adjoining property.

The wood-burner and electric radiators provide heating.  The cost of electricity is included in the rent. Logs can be obtained in the local shop.  All bed linen is supplied. Use of wireless broadband is available at this property. Unloading is possible within 75 yards of Castle Green Cottage. Parking is available in the car park around 500 yards away.  As this property is accessed by steps, some visitors may find it inconvenient.
