Downderry - Downderry is a small village in a beautiful location on the south coast of Cornwall just four mile from Looe.  There is a large beach with sand and shingle ideal for children in summer or a quiet stroll in winter.  The whole area boasts stunning sea views to St George's Island in the West, Rame Head in the East and on a clear day you can see the famous Eddystone lighthouse some 9 miles from shore.  The South West Coast Path passes through the village and leads to the nearby beaches at Whitsand Bay and Seaton.  Downderry has a local shop, cafe, the "Inn on the Shore" and popular Rosery restaurant.
