Built in the first half of the
19th century, Ripple
cottage was probably home to one of the many fishermen of that time. Now
carefully refurbished to preserve its character, it provides a good standard of
accommodation.
The cottage is located in the main part of the village
and is within 250 yards of the harbour, quay, shops and ferry to Fowey. The
coastal path and Hall Walk are both nearby.
There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one
with two single beds) and a bathroom with shower over the bath.
Downstairs, there is a sitting room with an open
beamed ceiling, an electric wood effect stove, colour television, video, DVD and CD player. The kitchen/diner
is well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and automatic
washing machine.
Heating is provided by night storage heaters and the cost of
these and other electricity is included in the rent. All bed linen will be
supplied. To the rear of the property there is a pleasant garden
which has a patio with views of the harbour. The garden is accessed via a right
of way which is shared with the adjoining cottage. A small well behaved pet may
be allowed by prior arrangement.
A dinghy can be hired at this property. Please ask for
details when booking as availability is limited.
Parking is available
in the car park which is around 350 yards away.

PETS. A well behaved pet (over one
year old) may be accepted by prior arrangement at this property.
An additional weekly charge of £20 per pet is made and a damage deposit
of £30 is also required. Visitors bringing pets must observe the
